Presidents' Week

Presidents' week was entertaining for me because three of my best friends and my big sister, of course, were off from work for the school break.

Danielle came over with her son for a play date. Keeley and Nolan were literally drooling all over each other :) Keeley LOVED having someone her own size to watch and interact with!

Emmet and I both scheduled a day of fun on Feb 19th, taking full advantage of Nanny Nancy while we have her close by; I went to Josephine's bridal shower and he took the train in to NYC with Katherine to meet his cousins Zach and Trev for some afternoon beers. We both enjoyed a hands free meal and some adult conversation.

Hot Wheels

My old gym teacher/soccer coach was kind enough to donate a good-as-new jogging stroller to Emmet and me and we are SO grateful. The weather has been so beautiful these past two weeks and I have had Keeley out in her new ride almost everyday. Obviously, we have stayed true to our family slogan, "If it's free, it's me!"

I won't go for a full speed run until Keels can sit up on her own in a few months, but we have loved our walks around the neighborhood, looking at cars, kids and flags blowing in the wind. The best part is, the fresh air always leads to a nice, cozy nap.

Valentine's Day

We got this tutu from our friends Walker and Abbey Heagney and I couldn't resist some at home photography. Enjoy :) Emmet and I kept it simple to celebrate, two cold beers, some dark chocolate and some playtime with our favorite sweetheart.

4 months old!

Weighing in at 13lbs 5oz and measuring 25 inches long, our little girl hits the 4 month mark today! She surprised us on the changing table this past weekend with a back to tummy roll over almost clear off the changing pad! Oh yes, one other bulletin- we started her on rice cereal last Thursday, which she seems to be loving- hopefully as her belly grows, so will her naps!
