Kerin's Shower

On Saturday, we prepared for Baby Gleason with a big shower for Kerin at my Mom and Dad's house. Lots of good food and plenty of wonderful girls to spoil the Mommy to Be with gifts and lots of dessert. Everyone in the Gorman family is SO excited for June, to meet this sweet baby, and see if it's a boy or a girl in there! No one more so, of course, than Kerin, who is carrying beautifully with 6 weeks to go :)

Long Island/Philly trip

 Emmet needed to go to Philly for his US Medical Licensing Exam Clinical portion, so we decided to make a trip of it. We stayed at my parents for a week, and he was able to visit Katherine and Fritz at Villanova for a few nights (of course stopping at Pat's and Gino's for some cheese steaks post examination).

I was able to get some quality time with the fam and have a visit from my friend, Cassie, who I met living in Dominica. Her daughter, Claire, was born right after Keeley in October, and their family is now in Far Rockaway doing rotations.

Josephine and Billy's Wedding

This past weekend, Emmet and I went to our first wedding since we became parents. It was an absolute blast to party with all of my old friends, knowing Keeley was in good hands with Nanny and Grandpa at home in West Babylon. 

Josephine, the bride, and I have known each other since Junior High when we started playing soccer together; it was so good to dance with her Mom, cousins and family after all these years.

Fun with the family

We've had an endless stream of visitors to our new house, a delight for Emmet and me, and a joy for Keeley who eats up all the attention.

First Holiday at Home- Easter

We had a relaxing and beautiful Easter with Katherine and Fritz- even broke out our Tiffany's beer mugs and crystal champagne flutes for the occasion. We went to our first mass at St. Mary's here in town; Keeley ended the service asleep on Dad's shoulder and then played with her company all afternoon.

 

Half Birthday!

Hard to believe baby Keeley is 6 months old! Must admit, she just keeps getting better and more fun as time goes on :)

Her personality has evolved so much; it has been so exciting to see her with other children lately- just absolutely loves being around other babies.
