Nanny and Pappy Gorman were in their glory this week with all three daughters and two granddaughters bunked up in one cozy cottage. It was entertaining for all of us to see the next generation at the Lake together for the first time.

Black Mountain Breakfast
This year, the Black Mountain Breakfast celebrated its 10 year anniversary, a Hulett's Landing tradition in which families boat over to a beautiful campground on a peninsula to eat breakfast, have some Bloody Marys and Mimosas, and see the lake from a different perspective. Emmet made it up from CT for the weekend and was able to participate in his first one on Saturday morning with Uncle Dennis and the gang.

Cheers to Brendan and Amy
We went out in Whitehall Thursday night to celebrate Brendan and Amy's engagement at a local steakhouse. (Fun times had by all, especially me, since I hired my first babysitter on Hulett's Landing to come over while Keeley was sleeping.) Also, Maddie slept through car rides to and from and almost all of dinner, proving that she really is the perfect newborn.

Keeley's first trip to Lake George
As you can see... she loved it! To top it off, she took her first steps on the lakefront on her 9 month day 7/7 in front of Emmet, me, Krista and Erica!
