February with Keels- Day to Day
Here in Bethel, we're chipping away at winter, one day at a time. Keeley and I have gotten a little stir crazy since the sidewalks got blocked by ice and snow during the blizzard, but we're passing the time with fun at home, Story time and Mother Goose at the libraries in the area, and play dates around town with all the Mommies group we love so much.
First finger painting was hilarious- Keeley took a minute to get used to it and then loved it
Messy or awesome... awesome!
Keeley has been big on helping out this past month, with everything from groceries to cooking
Always a doll or rabbit as company, along with Mommy
I have her down to one nap a day now after lunch, which gives me an hour and a half to myself, but car rides are still tough to resist for a quick, cozy nap.
Keels with her buddies, Madeline Zupan and Avery Bowen
Last but not least, for my own record someday, recent obsessions include "the letter O" and the song "The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round."

Grandpa Fitz turns 90!!
Best Grandpa ever :)
In true Fitzpatrick style, we celebrated 90 years of Grandpa's life this past weekend at the Ancient Order of Hibernians Hall in Babylon with family and friends from all over the country. My Mom and her siblings did an incredible job planning and carrying out the party of the winter. It was incredible to see everyone and watch Keeley enjoy all of her relatives and cousins. Highlights included the local Irish Step Dancers and the late night mingle at the hotel ( we got a babysitter!).

Happy Valentine's Day!
Valentine's Day this year was simple and sweet. Keeley loved her Mickey and Minnie outfit, playing with her skirt all day. We went on a play date to visit my girlfriend Darcy, her son Kyler (18 months), and her new baby, Lilah. After we put Keeley down, Emmet and I just ordered pizza and watched TV on the couch- doesn't get much better than that!

It's... It's...
After four ultrasound reschedules due to the blizzard, we were able to sneak in Friday morning before the big snow blast to see our little baby on the big screen at 20 weeks. No sooner did the tech have the machine on me than Emmet says "It's a girl!" Second time he pulled this on me- Mr. Doc in training! I still couldn't tell what body part I was looking at before I started tearing up with joy!
We are over the moon- a baby sister for sweet Keeley. We already picture our two little monkeys holding hands and playing together, "The Ferriter Girls."Looks like Papa Gorman will be "surrounded by women" once again.
