A Shower for Katherine

 

Mary and Debbie Ferriter threw a beautiful shower to celebrate Katherine before her wedding this fall. A sentimental location, Holyoke enabled Katherine's Nana Mengel to be there, along with lots of old hometown friends that she and Rosalie hold dear.

St. Patty's Day in Holyoke

A time honored tradition, we headed to Emmet's grandparents in Massachusetts this past weekend to run the St. Patty's Day Road Race, share a delicious corn beef meal with family and spend quality time with all of the Ferriter/Mengel Clan. Having just found out that Emmet got the residency position in Danbury that day, it was the perfect timing for a reunion with everyone we love.

 Emmet never ceases to amaze me, managing to beat them all, even after celebrating hard at Ryan Kubasek's wedding the night before!

A Day in the City

We took Keeley down to lower Manhattan for a visit with Aunt Joanne and Uncle Dennis (Gorman) and a stroll along the Battery. She had a ball spotting airplanes, big buildings and boats at the Seaport and Battery Park, and hanging out with Pip (Joanne's dog). Her ultimate favorite activity, though, was definitely jumping in puddles as the snow melted on one of the first spring "tease" days of the year.
