Within a five minute walk from our house in Harwichport was a beautiful little harbor on the way to the beach. These are the views that capture the heart of what Cape Cod looks and feels like to me, and it was fun to see the girls take it all in. One this walk, we saw some incredible birds of prey nesting in the high peaks of the dock poles.
Thanks for Nana, we got a great kite and the girls had a lot of fun flying it with Daddy and Uncle Conor.
Maury, as usual, was go with the flow, easy breezy Maury.
Our tent came in huge for shade and snack time!
Speaking of snacks, could there have been a better location for our rental house than behind "Sundae School " ice cream parlor?
Papa Tom!
The first beach day was rainy and cool, but the kids had a ball collecting shells and playing on the shore anyway.
One of my favorite memories of the week was Cora running barefoot through this field behind our house chasing bunnies.
We took her our for oysters and a shirley temple on night while Maury napped and Keels had some time with Nana.
The porch was the ideal spot to hang out and have "happy hour," or just to be together.

So much for a good group shot :)
Uncle Conor is silly!
After a morning walk at the beach, we hit up the Chatham pier fish market for some seal watching.
