Summertime and the livings easy...

We are having such an awesome summer. Having turned the corner with a now one year old and almost three year old, we have hit a sweet spot of post terrible twos for Keeley and post baby's first year transitioning with Cora. They both walk, eat and sleep at the same times, and generally do what I ask. It's a miracle. We will enjoy it while it lasts.

The weather has been absolutely perfect, with very low humidity and lots of sunny days. You can't beat getting outside and filling up a baby pool for entertainment. It's as easy as it gets! Not to mention all the other fun things there are to do; parks, pools, beaches, etc.

Most of all, I've loved the family time locally that we've had this summer. Compared to last summer when I felt tied down with my little newborn and defiant 20 month old, Emmet and I have gotten to do some excursions, which we always love. In addition, he is almost always home by 6, leaving just enough time for Daddy playtime in the yard.

Gazing at the water- a Sunday afternoon down in Milford at the beach, down the street from Walker and Abbey Heagney's house
